Community Liaison Governor

The governing body are looking to recruit a governor for a new and exciting post on the LGB to act as the Community Liasion Governor between all stakeholders.   Governors are recruited on their skill base and for this role we are looking for someone with good communication and organisation skills, who is a practiced fundraiser with bid-writing experience preferred.  The role will involve supporting the academy in restarting and maintaining an active PTA, working closely with the parent forum and the wider local community.  The expectation is that governors attend six Governing Body meetings and carry out six governor link visits to the academy per year (once per term).
