Term 3
Year 3 Term 3, “Walk like an Egyptian”
Year 3 have thrown ourselves into an exciting term with our Egyptian topic, “Walk like an Egyptian.” We will be exploring Egyptian stories such as ‘The Egyptian Cinderella’ and we will be creating our own Egyptian version of ‘The Three Little Pigs.’ In History, we will be delving deeper into the secrets of hieroglyphics and why the River Nile was so important to Ancient Egyptians.
Homework will be given on Bingo sheets. We ask that the children complete one activity a week. Please also continue to encourage your child to complete their Mymaths homework. https://www.mymaths.co.uk/
Please ensure your child’s reading planner is in school each day and that your child is reading at home at least three times a week. There are also fun journal tasks to complete.
