Term 4
Year 3 Term 4, “Run like an Egyptian”
After some fantastic learning in Term 3, we are eager to delve deeper into our topic of Ancient Egypt this term. We will be using what we have learnt so far to write a Non-Chronological Report on Ancient Egypt in English. In Maths, we will be continuing to focus on measurement, including: solving problems involving length, converting lengths and perimeter. We will also begin to look at Fractions. Science this term will be all about Animals and Humans where we will explore skeletons and food and nutrition. We are also incredibly excited about our upcoming Egyptian Day!
Homework was given out last term on Bingo sheets. We ask that the children complete one activity a week. If you need a copy of the bingo sheet, please just ask. Please also continue to encourage your child to complete their Mymaths homework. https://www.mymaths.co.uk/
Please ensure your child’s reading planner is in school each day and that your child is reading at home at least three times a week. There are also fun journal tasks to complete.
