Term 5
In English, we will begin with exploring the text ‘How to train a dragon’ and will be continuing practice our narrative skills. We will also be linking our English with our History topic ‘The Vikings’.
This term we will be covering a variety of topics in Maths. We will be investigating perimeter and area. We will be comparing and classifying shapes, identifying angles and looking at lines of symmetry. Following on from last term, we will continue learning about different units of measure.
Please also continue to encourage your child to complete their Mymaths homework.
Please ensure your child’s reading planner is in school each day and that your child is reading at home at least three times a week. There are also fun journal tasks to complete.
