Term 6

This term we are really looking forward to studying the narrative poem ‘The Highwayman’ by Alfred Noyes.

 

As an introduction to Shakespeare we will also be exploring the complex character relationships in Macbeth.

 

Curriculum coverage will include:

 

  • Arithmetic, decimals and measures in Maths

  • The Christian Church in R.E.

  • Materials in Science

  • SRE in P.S.H.E.

  • Volcanoes in Geography

  • Athletics for P.E.

  • Designing sets in Computing

  • French will focus on French words and phrases associated with the beach

  • Classical composers in Music

  • E-safety looks at creating secure passwords

 

Homework sheets with a focus on Macbeth will be given out to pupils.
