St Paul's CE Academy

"Where love and learning meet."

Psalm 32:8  I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go I will counsel you with my loving eye on you.

Additional Support

Sometimes children require additional support and we provide for this through our Learning Support Hub which is located in The Harbour.

We have dedicated staff and facilities to address the needs of our children and to help them overcome barriers to learning. We are able to provide 1:1 tuition for older pupils so that they can achieve a good standard before they start secondary school.

Our Pet Therapy Dog, Winnie, is regularly seen around the academy by the children with her designated adult. She is also used to work closely with some children through physical stimulation to help build upon pupils’ social skills and to encourage greater self-esteem. Parents’ permission will be sort before any close work of this kind occurs. For more information please see the separate link.

Children who are identified as being particularly able, either academically or in the creative arts, are given extension and enrichment opportunities within the classroom, in order to make sure they fulfil their potential, they may also have opportunities to take part in special projects.
