We have an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to join our ambitious and forward-thinking team at St Paul’s Church of England Academy.

 

The SEN Department is a large and successful department responsible for overseeing the progress, attainment and wellbeing of vulnerable pupils and those with SEN.

 

We are looking for a suitably experienced person to support the administrative work of the department. Previous school experience is desirable.

The role entails working with the SENCo as an essential part of the Inclusion Team.

 

 St Paul’s is a popular and thriving academy with excellent facilities across the site, including a nursery.  We aim to provide a safe and inspiring environment for all pupils within the Christian values of the academy.  We can offer you, ongoing professional development and a supportive and collaborative team ethos.

 

The successful candidate will:

•           be able to work well as part of a team;

The position is for 19.5 hours per week, term time only, three days a week (8.30am - 3.30pm), 30-minute unpaid lunch break. Days to be discussed with successful applicant. You will be paid on the Single Status pay scale (Grade 6, scale point 14-16, £26,824 - £27,694 per annum pro-rata).

We have vacancies available for Individual Needs Assistants to join our bank staff team at our popular, inclusive Church academy starting ASAP. 
 
The successful candidates will be on call to come in as and when required to support pupils across the Academy, working closely with the class teacher to provide support for learning as well as consistent pastoral and behavioural support. You will have a knowledge of supporting pupils with SEND -including Autism and Speech, Language and Communication difficulties. 
It is essential that our INAs are effective team players but are also able to work on their own initiative and be adaptable in this busy and broad role. 
 
You will have a range of strategies to support pupils with SEND and strong behaviour management experience. A Level 2/3 NVQ is desirable. 
 
We have a large inclusion department with friendly and supportive staff, who have a wealth of expertise, and we are committed to the continued professional development and training for all staff.

Nursery Practitioner

Qualified Nursery Practitioner

St Paul's CE Academy are looking to recruit a Qualified Nursery Practitioner Level 2/3 to join our friendly team in our modern purpose-built nursery. This position is Monday-Friday 9am-3pm, term time only starting as soon as possible.

Previous experience working in a nursery is desirable and it would be beneficial to have experience of being a key-person to a group of children as well as working as part of a busy nursery environment. However, we would welcome applications from college students reaching the end of their childcare course.

A good level of competency using ICT skills and equipment including an iPad is required for this post, as well as a sound knowledge of the updated EYFS 2024. Please note this role includes some paid staff meetings after working hours.

Our nursery is open plan and has a focus on teaching our 2-4 year olds in open-ended curious ways, which develop their resilience and builds their confidence. We encourage children to be free to explore in all things messy as we believe children learn best when they are having fun.

The role is for 30 hours per week, term time only (39 weeks per year), Monday - Friday, 9.00a.m. - 3.00p.m. You will be paid on the Single Status pay scale, Grade 3, sp7 £24,795 pro rata, per annum (actual salary £17,370 per annum).
