What we are looking for:
We are currently looking to appoint an enthusiastic teacher for a one-year fixed term position, starting September 2025. We are looking for a teacher who has:
• A high level of classroom expertise
• A track record of good or better teaching or has evidence of good, or better placement as part of their training
• A secure understanding of the curriculum
• Teaching and learning approaches that have a high impact on pupils vulnerable to underachieving
• The ability to work in partnership with staff, pupils and parents
• Willingness to work within a church school ethos
• High expectations of pupils, colleagues and themselves
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
• An awareness of the need to be reflective in all areas
• Commitment to contribute to the wider curriculum, offering enrichment opportunities to all
• Effectively promotes and develops the vision, aims, culture and ethos of the school
• The ability to create an inspirational learning environment
• A passion for making learning experiences exciting, memorable and engaging for all

We need you!
We have vacancies available for Teaching Assistant/MDSAs (qualified or training towards a supporting teaching and learning qualification) to join our popular, inclusive Church academy starting from September 2025.
The successful candidates will be joining a strong team supporting learning. You should be a passionate individual who is motivated to work both within the classroom and independently (1:1 and with small groups) to allow our pupils to fulfil their potential. In return we can offer you strong training opportunities working within a friendly and supportive learning environment.
You will also be expected to take on the position of a MDSA to cover the lunchtime period.
A TA2 position is for 15 hours per week, term time only, Monday - Friday, 9.00/9.15a.m. – 12.00/12.15p.m.You will be paid on the Single Status pay scale (Grade 3 £24,027 pro rata, per annum).
A MDSA position is for 5 hours per week, term time only, Monday - Friday, 12.00/12.15p.m. – 1.00/1.15p.m.You will be paid on the Single Status pay scale (Grade 2 £23,656 pro rata, per annum).
