Problems:

  •          Yr 6 – Our son has had to deal with bullying in yr6, although resolved at the time it has led to him

occasionally feel alone as the plan was to separate and stop interaction within a group of children.

Some have used this to push him away from groups he interacted with.

  •          Yr 5 – Haven’t experienced inequality

Ideas of how the academy could help:

  1.    What do you think is the most important thing our academy could do to improve equality?
  •          Rec & Yr2 More support for learning difficulties and identifying these difficulties
  •          Be more strict with both parents and children’s behaviour
  •          Yr 3 - Everything excellent
  •          Yr 6 – continue the diversity of students & their inclusion as well as the activities you already do.
  •          Learning about other cultures, countries & religions.

Sample responses:

Our son struggled to name other faiths

I don’t think standards relate to Christian values

Not been made aware of Church of England values explicitly
