Reception - Litter picking

It was World Ocean day this week, as a class we read a story about how lots of litter and plastic is ending up in the world’s oceans and seas and harming the wildlife there. We then discussed what we could do as a school to protect our environment, so we decided on a litter pick around the school grounds.
The children all wore a glove and made sure that they picked up the rubbish with that hand, they all worked brilliantly together and collected 5 bags of rubbish!
We are really proud of them for taking so much care of our environment!
