Enrichment Events at St Paul's

Enrichment at our school enhances classroom learning by offering pupils a wide range of opportunities beyond the curriculum. Through clubs, educational visits, visitors, workshops and sports events, pupils develop confidence, skills and a love of learning, providing them with meaningful opportunities to discover their strengths and let their light shine.

A huge congratulations to a selection of our Years 3–6 gymnastics students who represented the school in a gymnastics competition at Summerfields Gymnastics Club. They competed against other schools and came away with many well‑deserved medals. We are incredibly proud to say that St Paul’s CE Academy were crowned the overall champions!

A freezing afternoon at Cross Country didn’t stop our pupils from giving it their all. Despite the tough course, they ran their little legs off and showed incredible determination.  A special mention goes to our Year 4 pupil, who ran the entire course from start to finish in 1st place, securing their third win of the cross-country season. Another fantastic achievement came from our Year 6 pupil, who finished 3rd with a well‑controlled and confident run. We also had many pupils finish within the top 15, which is amazing.

Every pupil who took part was absolutely fantastic and a real credit to the school in both behaviour and effort.

A group of children represented the school at an Indoor Athletics event held at The St Leonards Academy, where they performed exceptionally well and came away with a fantastic tied 1st place. The pupils showed great determination, teamwork and commitment throughout the competition and should be extremely proud of their achievement. We now look forward to competing in the Area Finals

A selection of our Year 5 and Year 6 boys took part in a five-a-side football tournament at The St Leonards Academy on Friday 23rd January. The team displayed some outstanding football throughout the event, with impressive teamwork, great determination and several fantastic saves that kept the games exciting. A huge well done to all the boys involved. They represented our school brilliantly, showing superb sportsmanship and a positive attitude from start to finish.

A selection of our Year 3 and 4 children took part in an Indoor Athletics competition at The St Leonards Academy, delivering a brilliant performance and securing an impressive second place overall. Their determination and teamwork were amazing to watch. A special mention also goes to one of our talented Year 2 pupils, who joined the team and won her event—an outstanding achievement!

A group of our boys took part in an SEN Football Festival at Horntye Sports Complex, where they enjoyed an hour of expert training led by Bexhill College students. They then took part in a series of friendly matches, showing great teamwork, enthusiasm and sportsmanship throughout. The boys represented our school brilliantly, had lots of fun, and truly "let their light shine"

A group of pupils were selected to represent our school in a Badminton event held at Guestling Bradshaw Primary School on Saturday 24th January. The children took part in a range of matches throughout the morning, demonstrating great sportsmanship, determination, and teamwork. We are fortunate to have a qualified Badminton coach who delivers lunchtime coaching sessions at school every Tuesday and Wednesday. If your child is interested in trying a new sport or developing their skills further, these sessions are an excellent opportunity to get

 involved.

TIME TO DANCE

A selection of our Dance Club pupils took part in Time to Dance at the White Rock Theatre. The children dedicated a great deal of time and rehearsal to prepare for their performance, and we are incredibly proud of how bravely they took to the stage in front of such a large audience. They performed beautifully, represented the school wonderfully, and most importantly—had a fantastic time.
